COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The biggest hiring room we have found on the Pikes Peak region's fall calendar opens the day before Veterans Day. The Pikes Peak Workforce Center's Community & Veterans Job Fair lands at the Colorado Springs Event Center on Tuesday, November 10, with room for up to 150 employers and hiring managers who have open jobs to fill. It is open to everyone.

One day, four hours, up to 150 employers on Palmer Park Boulevard. If you are leaving Fort Carson, already out, married to someone in uniform, or simply looking for work in the Springs, this is the fair to circle.

🔥 Who This Veterans Job Fair Is For

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center pitches this one at three groups at once: people transitioning out of active duty, veterans already working their second career, and anyone else exploring what is out there. In a metro anchored by Fort Carson, Peterson and Schriever Space Force bases and the Air Force Academy, plenty of employers recruit that background on purpose.

Civilians should not read "veterans" in the title as a closed door. The organizer's own event page says everyone is welcome to come talk in person with hiring managers who are ready to hire. USAA is listed as a sponsor.

One note for returning attendees: the 2025 edition gave military and veterans a head start before the public. This year's listing does not mention a split entry window, so plan around 10 a.m.

⚠️ What We Don't Know Yet

The employer list is marked "coming soon" on the organizer's page, so we are not naming who will be in the room. "Up to 150" is the organizer's ceiling, not a confirmed count. No admission price is posted on the event page either. Confirm at (719) 667-3700 if cost is a factor. We will update this article when the roster goes up.

✅ How to Show Up Ready

The workforce center asks attendees to create or update a Connecting Colorado account before the event. It is the state's job-matching system.

The center is also running résumé review sessions one or more days before the fair. If you are translating an MOS, AFSC or rating into civilian terms, book that appointment. It is far easier to fix a résumé the week before than at a folding table.

Bring:

Fifteen or more printed résumés, one page if you can manage it
Photo ID
Your clearance level and investigation date, if you hold one
Certifications and license numbers: CDL, CompTIA, nursing, trade cards
